Sr. Project Manager, OMES in support of ODOT September 29, 2022 – October 31, 2022

Managed 6 Projects as part a conversion of the portfolio from MS Project Server to Service-Now, maintaining momentum while creating the project specific cost and resource plans in the new platform. Reported Status and created Change Requests through Service-Now. Created a new project from scratch in the new software. OMES has not yet implemented the Resource Management module in Service-Now.

Sr. Project Manager, ATCALS Sustainment Engineering October 17, 2016 – August 23, 2022

Managed assigned Projects as part of the B-1 project support group at KBRwyle Aerospace, Midwest City, OK, until June 2017. Thereafter I managed engineering teams in support of projects for the Air Traffic Control and Landing Systems (ATCALS) Program in a matrixed organization, concentrating on Cybersecurity Projects, Custom Design, Innovation, Sustainment Engineering, and new technologies for the US Air Force. This role includes all aspects of traditional project and program management including budget, scope, quality, schedule, communication, risk, change and stakeholder management. Project Manager, GIS Infrastructure/Security Portfolio July 2015 – May 2016

Contracted to Hertz Corporation by Robert Half Technology Oklahoma City, OK

Project Manager for Global Infrastructure Project at the Hertz Corporation in Oklahoma City, through their PMO. $1.75M Capital Project. Collaborating with Assistant VP of Operations for the infrastructure upgrades of HW & OS on all servers with and EOL operation system. My role was to initiate the project with a Business case and costing model, working with the AVP, and to manage all subsequent phases of the project. I created remediation plans with a preference for Virtualization and Windows Server 2012 R2, wherever possible. 445 servers worldwide, in Europe, Asia, the US, and the Pacific Rim. I Drove discovery and remediation, created individual migration plans for each environment, alone or in collaboration with Hertz IT Teams. Facilitated communication between Hertz and their vendors, managed stakeholders, scope and budget, including financial planning and forecasting, for the project. Performed all the customary tasks associated with project scheduling and Change Control. Side deliverables included:

Recreated missing documentation and created documentation for the new IT footprint in each environment.

Modeled extended support scenarios for EOL servers, so executive management could choose one based on cost vs. risk.

Identifying security policy violations in legacy environments, corrected them in the new environments.

Sourced new Subject Matter Expertise, where needed.

Expanding VM space, with SAN, in 3 data centers worldwide, in support of the effort to consolidate equipment in these locations.

Tracked and reported on additional Windows 2003 servers in the project to integrate the Dollar Thrifty Auto Group with Hertz.

Evaluated space management in virtual environments, in consideration of acquiring better space planning/optimization/management tools.

Renegotiated a paperwork-intensive collaboration with an offshore IT vendor, streamlining processes in pursuit of time-savings.

Maintained the agility required to accommodate several business decisions that had the potential to derail the project: a 6-week long approval process to start, a spending freeze in Q4 2015, three changes in Project Sponsorship, a hiring freeze in Q1 2016, and a layoff of all Hertz IT employees announced in February 2016, made effective between March 15th and May 30th.

Led mobile team of technicians through Oklahoma West region for the ONEOK group of companies, rolling out Windows 7 through in-place upgrade, with SCCM distribution, using ImageX and USMT tools for disaster recovery and data restores. Continually improving process to adapt to changing resources as we deployed our solution to remote parts of the state. Reported progress and projected goals daily. IT & IS Manager November 2006 – April 2012

Dale Rogers Training Center, Inc., Oklahoma City, OK

Managed all IT Projects, for 12 locations in Oklahoma, including civilian contract offices fulfilling DoD contracts at Tinker AFB, Altus AFB, Lockheed Martin and Government Services Administration in Downtown OKC. Projects ran with in-house and sometimes outsourced resources, including Infrastructure upgrades, ISP and OSP, hardware and software deployments, network, telephony, and timekeeping.
