The project included final design services for widening the intersection approaches, revise the drainage design and new traffic signals at this location in Mays Landing. Project Manager responsible for overseeing the final design of this District 5-0 project. Developed horizontal & vertical track realignments along with final right-of-way plans. The project included the elimination of the existing at grade crossing with two Conrail track realignments and dual Conrail grade separated structures over Basin Street. Basin street was lowered in order to maintain proper vertical clearance.

S.R.0222, Park Road Bypass, Berks & Lancaster Counties, PA

Developed alternatives analysis and associated impacts for the environmental impact statements (EIS) prepared for Penn Dot District 5-0 along S.R. 0222 located in Berks County & S.R. 0222 located in Lancaster County. Both projects were advanced thru final design at a construction cost of 200 million dollars. Developed horizontal & vertical alignments along with final right-of-way plans. The project included 50 business and residential relocations along with 150 partial takes. The design incorporated avoidance/minimization measures to protect the then federally threatened bog turtle habitat. A gap right-of-way was produced to advance the acquisition of the total take parcels. The project included three diamond interchanges and a three-level complex interchange. The project included 12 highway and railroad multi-span and curved structures, 6 retaining walls, two major box culverts and four noise walls.

Project Manager responsible for overseeing the design and construction of this 2-mile project in Ocean County. The project included development of construction plans, right-of-way plans and agreements. There were 85 partial frontage takes on this project. The project included large scale utility involvement for the placement of twin 43”x68” reinforced concrete elliptical pipes to avoid a sanitary sewer force main that entered the mainland from Island Beach.

Project Manager responsible for overseeing the design and construction of this NJDOT maintenance project. The project included the redesign of the existing interchange to include a collector distributor road in the northbound direction on Route 1. Northbound Route 1 was widened and all the existing ramps were reconfigured to match the collector distributor road.

Project Manager responsible for overseeing the design and construction of this accelerated high-profile project involving access to the City of Chester from Interstate I-95 and the Commodore Barry Bridge. The project included extensive coordination between NJDOT, PennDOT, DRPA, the City of Chester and the Ruth Bennet House along with the largest recycling company on the east coast. The project included two viaduct ramps each approximately a mile in length providing access to the City of Chester from the Commodore Barry Bridge. The new ramps profiled a distance of 85 feet,

New Jersey Department of Transportation Project Manager responsible for overseeing the design and construction of this accelerated high-profile project involving the rehabilitation and beautification of NJ U.S. Route 30 from the Airport Circle to the Benjamin Frankland Bridge. The project involved milling and overlay of the existing pavement with full depth replacement at the bridge underpasses. Landscape design included coordination with the NJDOT Landscape Design Unit, DRPA and included a two-wall interlocking block system. Other elements included ITS conduit installation, drainage design, utility relocations, guide rail design, concrete barrier with fencing, sidewalk and a granite block paving design.

Project Manager responsible for overseeing the design and construction of this South Jersey Project. The project involved the addition of a fourth lane in each direction of NJ Route 42. Work included adding a fourth lane to the existing facility between Interstate 295 and Route 55 along with the addition of a second lane for the NJ Route 55 Ramp exiting southbound Route 42. Extensive maintenance and protection of traffic plans were developed to accommodate the high traffic volumes on adjacent sections of Route 42, I-76, NJ Route 55 and Interstate 295. The project also included bridge widenings and noise wall design and construction.

The project included a new interchange at Adamstown Road, Full Diamond Interchanges at Mohns Hill Road & Grings Hill Road, Two Structures carrying Old Lancaster Pike over S, R, 0222 were also constructed. The project also included the construction of a parallel road (Deer Creek Road) which would also serve as access during the reconstruction of S.R. 0222.

The work included analysis of exiting traffic. environmental considerations, roadway and structure design and identification of required construction permits. Analyzed multiple different interchange options based upon specific design and traffic operations criteria. Results included “fatal flaw” analysis, alternatives comparison matrix and project documentation.

Route 49 Cape May Branch Bridge Replacement over New Jersey Transit. Upper Township, Cape May County. New Jersey Department of Transportation (2008-2010)

Project Manager responsible for overseeing the

design and construction of this accelerated high-profile project. The bridge is a simple span superstructure consisting of two longitudinal precast post tensioned box girders with precast stub abutments on drilled shafts and steel H-piles. The girders support the deck slab from above which reduced the structural depth, which allows the required 23’-0” vertical clearance over the railroad.
