Seeking a painting position which gives me the opportunity to build upon my Pre-Apprenticeship

training and experience.

QUALIFICATIONS

Pre-Apprentice Training Program- Curriculum included instruction and hands-on

experience in the correct application of all paints, sealants, varnishes and wall covering,

and selecting the best materials and equipment for job.

Safety-Acquired a safety-oriented approach to work, with a demonstrated record for following all

OSHA Safety regulation. Also completed 3M Respiratory Training. Have Lead Abatement Awareness,

OSHA-3O, Scaffold Safety, and Safety for Media Blasting Operations, as well as various spray machines and other painter’s tools.

Worksite/Surface Preparation- Skilled in paint removal, sanding, scraping, caulking, and priming. In

addition, properly cover all surfaces not being painted.

Applications- Skilled in the following: Spray Painting- Has had training using:

-Materials: Latex, acrylic, oil and -Conventional Spray gun, with a

water-based paint pressure pot & cup gun

-Surfaces: Wood, drywall, and -HVLP Spray Gun

sheet rock pressure pot & turbine system

-Airless Spray System

Equipment - Skilled and use safety in operations of the following:

Airless Sprayer • Paint Shaker/Paint mixers

Various Ladders/Step Ladders • Sandblasting Equipment

Electric Hand Tools • Scaffolding

Basic Hand Tool

Wallpaper

Drywall Equipment

Painting-Trained in all phases of Painting, which include Spray painting, mudding, surface

preparation, scaffold building, wallpaper hanging, wallpaper removal, texturing such as the California

knock down, lead abatement, and acid on concrete.
