Created this program to provide guidance and feedback to newly graduated medical transcriptionists, offering them on-the-job training on real hospital accounts with intensive feedback not offered with just the schooling they had. At the end of their 12-week program, they were hired on full-time at an increased rate of pay. Employed up to 12 mentors/QA editors at any given time, each assigned a minimum of 5-6 interns. Accustat-Carolinas Internship Program Manager 2005 – 2006 Facilitated the startup of an internship program and managed several hospital accounts. Trained and educated new graduates of medical transcription schools to meet or exceed (and maintain) quality and production levels.
