Unfortunately the contract was lost and we could not continue working there after a month or so. May of 2020. In April of 2020, just one month later, I was promoted to Foreman. The additional responsibilities of the Foreman position included locating the span and trees specified in the work order, filling out the necessary paperwork upon completion of the job, and filling out timesheets for the other members of my team. I continued to push myself as always to be the best climber I could be, often needing to climb most of the trees for my crew in a day in order to ensure we completed the numbers the company expected to see. In addition to personally ensuring each job was done to the satisfaction of both Wright’s Tree Service and PG&E who was providing the contract I was also constantly looking for and pursuing opportunities to train my crew. First to be e cient groundsmen and then to be competent climbers so they could both improve their skills and become more valuable employees for the company.

I was also in charge of ensuring we had proper clearance of the lines, that ropes were rigged properly and the cuts that were made were calculated to remove limbs and trees safely. Meaning that limbs or stems did not come into contact with the power lines, no climber or groundsman was ever in danger of getting hurt, any surrounding structures or fences were not damaged or in harm's way, that environmental concerns such as water sheds and creeks were not negatively impacted by our work, that clean up was always done correctly, and that all safety standards given to us by Pg&e, osha and our own company were followed at all times without slowing down the job e ciency.

I completed all of this to the satisfaction of my employers every day for almost 2 years and it has given me the experience necessary to do these things for any tree company who needs someone with these skills. EDUCATION

Field Experience

I have 11 years of experience learning everything I need to know to be a safe, e cient, and e ective arborist. I worked on a large variety of job sites learning groundwork, roping, rigging, climbing, and proper safety protocols. I also have extensive experience with hazard identification, identifying tree species and predicting growth patterns to determine future concerns regarding proximity to property or power lines. PROJECTS

Konocti Harbor Resort

I’ve been going out on my own doing as many jobs as I can to provide for my family and further my skills in the field. In 2018 when the Konocti resort was first repurchased and the task of reopening had begun I came in and o ered my skills as an arborist trimming and removing many of their trees. I did this 3 months until the opportunity with Phoenix Timber Company presented itself to me
