I am looking forward to employment in the field of geriatric care. I have enjoyed working with the elder population over the last few years and would like to make a career of it. There are gaps in my employment, as I have been a homemaker, caring for my children during those times.

PERSONAL CARE AIDE, AIM independent living

As an aide, I was responsible for the personal care of various age groups. I performed tasks such as daily exercise routines, housekeeping, personal hygiene, running errands and I also provided companionship.

2007

ELECTRICIAN, siemens

As an electrician, my duties included but were not limited to: assisting in the start up procedures for the “Boston Blue” project, inventory management to include receiving, logging and encoding tools with value upwards of $4,000,000, reading and interpreting blueprints/schematics, detailing electrical harnesses and lines for cab operations, HVAC systems and lights. I also completed documentation, detailing records of the work which was performed in accordance with inspection requirements. I was also a Certified Scissor and Lift Operator.

I stacked finished products as a palletizer and operated heavy equipment.

1998-2000

WELDER, R.WIREWORKS

As a welder, I operated the press welder and utilized stick and tig techniques in the building of metal storage and disced racks in accordance with the blueprints. My duties were performed within a fast-paced production line setting. I was also a machine operator, performed inventory at the warehouse, along with inspections.

Over the years, I held various positions which included management and customer services in the hospitality field, to include trainer/server/manager. I also volunteered as a greeter at St. joe’s Hospital, I was a Girl Scout Leader and assisted in school rooms.

SKILLS

I have been assisting my elderly neighbors, though they have since passed. I have a great relationship with the people I have worked with.

I am strong willed and will follow through with all tasks, while ensuring quality work.

I am very hygienic and take sanitization very seriously.

I am very friendly.

I am a great mother.
