As the first of many projects, I was put in charge of a new application which assisted the audit team for employee corporate purchase cards. The application kept track of the audit progress of 25% out of approximately 40,000 employees PCard purchases every 2 weeks. The employee would be required to provide requested documentation for any purchases. There were 3 emails sent out with increasing levels of escalation up the hierarchy until all requirements were met. The application sent out thousands of emails automatically which before was a manual task, reducing the departments headcount from around 15 to 2 people.
