EXPERIENCE

1990 - 2001 Senior Exhibitor Service Representative, Freeman Company Engaged with thousands of exhibitors and managed their orders. High volume client calls to coordinate client’s special event. High volume of data entry including orders, logistics, billables and invoicing. Generated daily production inventory lists and freight manifests for 1800 to 3500 companies consisting of one million plus pounds of freight per event. Balanced financial batches daily in the range of 1.75M. Worked with clients personally on-site handling labor orders and made labor calls. Managed trade shows along account executives and show managers nationwide. 2001 - 2022 East Coast Show-site Freight Manager, GPM Expositions Performed Freight Logistics planning with transportation partners and branch operations.

Worked diligently and ensured reliable on time delivery while controlling overall transportation spend.

Managed logistics planning operations to provide service within established time frames and in compliance with project requirements. Booked all outbound and inbound transportation for in house client freight. Collaborated daily with all transportation partners to manage driver schedules. I was responsible for managing the efficient utilization of 14 dedicated drivers and 250 trailer assets.

Communicated directly with branch operations to plan due dates, delivery location, point of contact, drop or live load and other venue specific details. Maximized fleet utilization and minimized freight transportation costs. Assessed incidents, complaints, suggestions for the purpose of minimizing on time delivery risk.

Acted as a subject matter expert for branch operations/sales and provided efficient solutions for last minute business challenges. Maintained excellent relationships with all outside carriers and internal transportation providers.
