I lead what is called a round hot table. My table consists of 12 molds that I must keep up with which may consist of me changing or cleaning the molds throughout the day too insure I have all 12 molds running throughout the day too meet our quota at the of the night . There’s 5 positions at the round table which includes my people stretching, placing, trimming & oiling the molds . That is the process of making a good filter. We have 12 different filters we make on the table, each goes in separate numbered totes labeled 1-12 after the totes fill up with filters/finished products I go into what we call a WIP display & print a ptf for the totes filled with the filter that matches the PTF including information regarding the filters height, oil that’s needed too color the filter, the car it goes in, the packaging details that the filter gets dents out in etc. I double check the material & the PTF making sure they match then have them sent too packing too finish off the finishing process.
