DUTIES

Directed operations and business functions of a five star, five diamond property with 150 rooms, 9,000 square feet of meeting space, $28 million in annual room revenues and 6.5 million in Food & Beverage and 35 managers.

Management of multiple facilities. Responsible for overseeing skilled work and performances of maintenance, management of hotel day-to-day operations, repair of 12 buildings throughout North Carolina. Arranging for repairs to facility and equipment, including providing and arranging carpentry, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and other trade work. Also responsible for emergencies as related to the facility, as needed. Successfully managed construction of a 3.2-million-dollar healthcare addition from groundbreaking to completion.

Responsible for all capital expenditures, oversee all contractors and subcontractors on site. Recordkeeping which includes state, county, and JCAHO rules and regulations, monthly report of expenditures and life, safety and survey inspections. Responsible for troubleshooting problems, determining solutions and/or repairs needed. All HVAC. All facets of electrical repairs, security doors, lights, door panels, locks, deadbolts, security locks, striker plates, security monitors and cameras, intercom, control boards and panels, computer on-line analysis, emergency generator, skilled in all aspects of photoscan and simplex security, sprinkler system, knowledgeable in Sloan and vacuum control plumbing.
