• Preparing Oxygenator according to patient's Body Surface Area(BSA) and priming based on patient's occasion

• Performs other procedures related to intraoperative activities involving extra corporal assistor circulation

• Fallows established hospital infection control and safety procedures

• Operates, with assistance, automatic auto transfusion equipment for the sterile collection and processing of the perfusion and auto transfusion processing

• Performs intra-aortic Balloon Pump, including insertion, console set-up, augmentation, timing, transportation, and troubleshooting

• Performs Extra Corporal Membrane Oxygenation (ECMO), including set-up, prime, analysis of blood gas and intervention, transportation, and troubleshooting

• Assembles the intra operative cell saver auto transfusion (cell saver) technology and how to integrate it with the perfusion circuit

• Periodically withdraws blood from the Cardiopulmonary Bypass(CPB) circuit for blood gas, chemistry, Cardiopulmonary Bypass(CPB) analysis and special studies

• Information Management: summarizes patients physiological policy; records all information pertinent to patient during procedure, i.e.; time on bypass, cross clamp, ABG, VBG, ACT, Temp Maintains security in computer entries; completes order entry as per hospital policy and procedure
