Overview:

Covid19 PCU RN: Evaluate and monitor progress of patients diagnosed with Covid-19, exceptional assessment skills; Identify sudden or subtle changes in the patient’s medical condition; Calculating drug dosage, titrating medication doses, administering continuous medication infusion and monitoring patients for effects of medication; Maintain patient hemodynamic stability with proper nursing interventions as ordered; Working closely and collaborating with physicians and all other healthcare providers; Prepares, administers and records any additional prescribed medications; Prepares equipment and assist the physician with bedside procedures; Monitoring patients before, during, and after invasive procedures; Provide emotional support to acutely ill patients and their families; Recognizing the signs and symptoms of cardiopulmonary and respiratory emergencies and knowing how to start standard interventions to stabilize the patient; Recording symptoms, reactions, and progress; Developing, planning, implementing, evaluating, documenting, and managing nursing care; Patient and family education skills; Consults and coordinates with health care team members to assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care plans; Changes dressings, inserts catheters, starts IVs; Records all care information concisely, accurately and completely, in a timely manner, in the appropriate format and on the appropriate forms; Performs other position-related duties as assigned, depending on assignment setting. Med-Surg/Tele RN: Perform initial patient assessments and work with physicians to plan, implement, and evaluate plans of care for patients, monitor and record patients’ medical history, vital signs, and test results in electronic and physical medical charts. Observe patients and actualize nursing interventions to expedite healing and recovery after surgery. Suture removal, administer medications and injections, administer IV therapy, test glucose levels, venipuncture, wound care. Educate patients and caregivers on diagnosis, treatment options, disease process, and self-management. Provide comprehensive instruction on discharge plans to sustain continuity of care upon discharge and drive recovery goals. Site Lead/ Event Coordinator: Manage and oversee Covid-19 vaccination and testing site operations and all staff members comprising of RNs, LPNs, and administrators for Logistics Health Incorporated. Ensure the site is properly staffed and that all staff are trained properly; Monitoring inventory and ordering needed supplied to ensure the event is adequately supplied; coordinating daily huddles; maintaining safety and infection control for all staff and attendees; responding to adverse events promptly, following protocol and reporting to VAERS; coordinating with NCDOH and state vaccine coordinators to ensure that the vaccines are transported safely and meet CDC guidelines for temperature regulations, proper handling, administration and documentation of all vaccine events. Ensuring that staff are comfortable and feel safe in their work environment by promoting good rapport, effective leadership, and creating an atmosphere where staff can ask questions, seek guidance, and gain support. Vaccinator: Screen clients who are scheduled for vaccinations with the New York State Department of Health; administering vaccines; monitoring for potential side effects and adverse reactions; monitoring client flow; directing clients to available vaccination tents; and assisting with facilities operations.

Covid19 Isolation RN: Provides nursing care, within the scope of practice for COVID-19 diagnosed clients. Adheres to strict infection control protocols to maintain public safety. Recognizes changes in clients’ conditions and reports changes to PCP; Recognizes and responds rapidly and efficiently to medical emergencies; Medication administration; Patient Intake and discharge; Works collaboratively to support clients during their stay as well as coordinating care for follow up upon discharge. Provides timely care coordination and management (e.g., hospital transfer care coordination, procedure coordination) in conjunction with healthcare team and PCP. Provides client education regarding COVID-19. Provides clinical leadership to support staff, including medical assistants; Participates in training and updates in care. Participates as an active member of the Care Support Team through case-conferencing and other collaborative work.
