Review, analyze and use interpretation of supply directives and procedures. Formulate and recommend standard operating procedures to achieve optimum support to the logistics program on matters pertaining to property accountability. Responsible for the branch logistical support program to ensure supported units/activities receive guidance and assistance to correct problems and deficiencies. Analyze recommendation and issue written or verbal instruction to ensure units receive maximum readiness posture. Evaluate property book reconciliations to determine if systemic problems exist within the supply chain. Coordinate with Army Material Command (AMC), Defense Logistics Agency (DLA), General Service Administration (GSA) and the National Guard Bureau (NGB) program managers to affect receipt of required equipment. Conduct Quarterly 100 percent Inventory, for Ammunition at the Ammo Supply Point, for mission readiness. Managed all supply transaction dealing with excess property. Responsible for screening numerous items deemed excess throughout the country from other government agencies such as DLA, GSA, DOD, and DRMS. Monitor Non-Expendable equipment within the Pennsylvania Army National Guard, in order to maintain accurate accounting and reporting system for real property and property book equipment. Coordinator for all PAARNG’s Heraldry items to include flags, guidons, streamers and General Officers kits.
