I ran a register where I rang up peoples items including alcohol and food items aswell as our deli cooked foods. I did all of the store duties including cleaning and doing all the paperwork, ordering inventory, closing down the registers and closing the shifts down. I handled all of the lottery sales and accounted for all of the Instant tickets aswell as the online tickets sold for inventory and store sales. I handled all shift customer service including complaints and problems when they arose. Worked closely with the store manager and the general manager for all of the stores that our owner owned which was 11 stores. I handled vendors for inventory and deliveries, counting and checking all supplies that they brought to our store. Making sure everything was accounted for when they brought deliveries and making sure we had all of the suuplies ordered and in stock that we needed. I took the store from just mediocre cleanliness and professionalism to 100% sanitation and customer service with the other employees. I was basically an assistant manager without the title. Handled all the incoming calls on the store phone for customers and businesses that called needing anything. I was responsible for store sales going up over 40% in the 6 months I was there.
