·Call all patient results for COVID 19 testing with their results, Advise and give quarantine instructions to COVID Positive patients, swab for COVID testing, fill in for Medical Assistants and Patient Care Technicians as needed, email COVID results and documentation to patients and their employers, scan in records to patient charts.

LEAD MEDICAL ASSISTANT FAMILY HEALTH CENTER 2019-2020

·Ensure all federal and state laws and guidelines are followed (e.g., OSHA, CLIA, HIPAA), maintain current credentialing for clinical staff, adhere to all 3rd party insurance company guidelines (including Medicare), ensure that medical records are properly documented, stored and released. Respond to routine health inquiries, direct complicated inquiries to the provider. Identify HEDIS and UDS measures that need to be met. Perform the measure per Medical Assistant Standard Work or prepare the patient for the provider to perform the measure, serve as a liaison between medical assistants and management, maintain pods (2 pods per lead which includes 8 –12 medical assistants and 8-10 providers.) Assist in reviewing schedules for/with providers for hospital follow-ups, HEDIS measures and advanced appts. Serve on special teams as advised by managers, and attend required in-services and monthly departmental meetings. Also responsible for assigning MA’s duties daily along with giving each MA a lunch break. Manage equipment & facilities maintenance & repair.
