• Responsible for creating complete test cases, test plans, test data, and reporting status ensuring accurate coverage of requirements and business processes.

• Presentation of the data flow in the form of Show and Tell to the clients

• Analysing requirements and creating and executing test cases.

• Writing SQL queries to compare the counts and data from source to target.

• Performing backend testing of the DB by writing PL/SQL, SQL queries to test the integrity of the application and Oracle databases.

• Defects identified in testing environment are communicated to the developers using Quality Centre – Defects module.

Project Description:

• Decision Support System (DSS) analyzes business data and presents it as MIS reports so that users can make business decisions more easily.

• EDW gathers heterogeneous data from 20+ source systems and processes it so that reports can be generated over the de normalized data.

• Business executives who want to analyze the statistics of business are the end users of the reports that will be generated by EDW.

• It includes detailed description of the current statistics of BT Retail.

• OBI Dashboard is used by the Business to make decision related to particular system.

• It mainly contains 3 layers:

1) Source layer- Input from multiple Sources

2) Integrated layer - is the integrated view of scattered data from different sources 3) Dimension layer - is comprised of ‘Fact table’ and ‘Dimension table’ and these are connected in a Star schema format.
