Projects: Large marine 2D and medium sized 3D (large for those days) While in Dallas, Texas, I Worked on research mostly on Saudi ARAMCO data - for example; Marjan Oil Field, 3D – offshore Arabian Gulf - Near surface related problems of noise and travel time distortions, Signal recovery by inverse filters etc.
Other traditional 2D/3D residual statics(travel time correction for distortion due to near surface velocity anomalies in near surface soil and rocks) and de- convolution/wavelet processing problems
Wrote my own Software for wavelet estimation, spectral ratios for time varying Inverse Q filters. I also developed a simple method for iterative subsurface imaging by 3D seismic velocity field updates.
