Anne Arundel Community College — Baking & Pastry Certificate August 2011 - December 2014, Anne Arundel County

I enrolled in community college part time while working at Two Rivers Steak and Fish House. I was originally going for my associates degree in baking and pastry but then directed my attention to just completing the classes I needed for my certificate first. I didn’t end up completing the certificate because I had my daughter in December of 2014 but I do plan on completing the last few classes I need. I completed classes such as intro to baking and pastry, intro to culinary arts, food science, world cuisine, ServeSafe Certification, artisan breads, intro to restaurant and hotel management, and cake decorating. Chesapeake High School - High School Diploma

August 2007 - May 2011, Pasadena, MD

I graduated from highschool with a GPA of 3.0 and took any program I could have relating to the food industry. I enrolled in the vocational school, Center of Applied Technology North, for Culinary Arts and Baking and Pastry. I completed the level 1 program for both Culinary Arts and Baking and Pastry and then completed level 2 of Baking and Pastry during my senior year. I practiced my skills by participating in SkillsUSA competitions and going out on work study at Angel's Bakery, a local grocery store in Pasadena, MD. I even helped prepare a luncheon for the governor at the time during my junior year. During my 4 years in school, I never missed a day or was tardy.
