Education

Hundreds of continuing education and certificate courses over the years. Credentialed in the McKenzie Method for musculoskeletal pain, back and neck

(only one in this area). The McKenzie Method is the most well known and accepted approaches for treating orthopedic pain conditions. However, I still use an eclectic approach.

Various other training involves Vestibular and balance; Work Conditioning, Fitness training and Golf/Sports rehab and Manual Therapy. Manual therapy approaches have focused on the Mulligan Concept, McKenzie procedures, Soft Tissue Release, Active Release, ASTYM (Augmented Soft Tissue Mobilization for scar tissue/fibrosis), Mobilization of the nervous system (neural glides/flossing). Training specifically to treat Osteoporosis patients, Graded Motor Imagery and Mirror Therapy for those with Chronic Pain. Trained in providing Laser Therapy for a variety of pain and inflammatory musculoskeletal conditions. Utilize the Litecure LightForce Class IV Laser. LSVT BIG certified. Certified in Selective Functional Movement Assessment and Functional Movement Systems (SFMA). The SFMA is the movement based diagnostic system, designed to clinically assess 7 fundamental movement patterns in those with known musculoskeletal pain. The assessment provides an efficient method to systematically find the cause of symptoms, not just the source, by logically breaking down dysfunctional patterns and diagnosing their root cause as either a mobility problem or a stability/motor control problem.
