Role Description:

I have worked as a Senior Highway Engineer on construction of Peshawar to Karachi Motorway, Multan-Sukkur section M-5.The length of the Project was 397 km with design speed of 120 km/hr. The project included 54 bridges, 426 underpasses, 12 service area buildings, 10 flyovers, service roads, fencing, plantations etc.

I was part of a Core team, responsible for monitoring the site activities of In house consultant. I was reporting to the Team Leader. I was reporting on QA/QC issues to the Team Leader based in the main office at Multan. The deficiencies observed were shown on a power point presentation to the In House consultant for rectification.

I was mainly checking all structure work of bridges, box culverts, shop drawings of structures, bar bending schedules of structure, asphaltic base/wearing Course, I.R.I

I have worked as Resident Engineer on Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) project. Total length of the project I managed was 07 km out of total 28 km. Project comprised elevated and at grade sections of BRT.

Project comprised construction of 3 Under Passes, 1 Under Ground Tunnel for pedestrian, 8 Bus Stations (including 3 Under Ground), and 8 Pedestrian Bridges.

My responsibilities included overall construction supervision of the contractor's work which involved under passes, wet well for under passes, flyovers, pedestrian overhead bridges, underground bus stations, rigid pavement, BRT lane, mix traffic lane, service roads, drains, bike lane, side walk, etc.

Supervision of all construction activities like piling, pile load testing, concrete pouring, checking of bar bending schedule and formwork before pouring of concrete, earth works, asphaltic work etc. carried out by contractor according to drawings and required specifications.
