Versatile, dependable employee that has over 18 years of experience in a massive food production company. During my time at home, I provide care for my mother who is disabled. Managing both a career and long-term care requires high-drive and good time management. Iām looking for a professional career that will provide new challenges to continue feeding my motivation.
EXPERIENCE
OCTOBER 2019 ā PRESENT
CAREGIVER, Family
I watch over my mother for her health and well-being. In order to provide care, with her conditions, I communicate with her what she needs to do to make the process less strenuous. Transferring her from one location to another involves locking her weak side of her body with myself, as a pivot to allow her to move using her stronger side.
Due to trouble with her speech, I adjust by using day-to-day contact and context (verbal and physical) in order to accurately conclude what she is trying to communicate.
Other tasks include but are not limited to: observation and monitoring of physical condition and behavior, chauffeuring and attending doctor appointments, meal preparation with nutritional needs in mind, providing hygienic care, laundering, maintaining a clean and well-organized environment.
MARCH 2003 ā OCTOBER 2022
SENIOR PROCESS OPERATOR, symrise inc.
Operate and troubleshoot machines as needed. Appointed as a Shift Leader for over ten years. Shift leaders are responsible for training new employees in how to operate machines and packaging items for shipment. I coordinated with multiple departments for maximum efficiency; observe overall productivity of all machinery in area for maintenance, and scheduling and confirming orders with the planning department.
