4)Cura Dental Studios (October 2014- November 2019) – Having worked with Dr Nishalin Govender in Pietermaritzburg, I was given the opportunity to relocate to Durban and join Dr Nishalin Govender in Cura Dental Studios, whereby taking the responsibility as the only person undertaking all duties in the practice.

Duties included: Dental assistant, practice administrator, stock controller, medical aid submissions via edi, medical aid benefit checks and queries, maintenance of the practice, instrument sterilisation and cleansing of all equipment, invoicing and receipting of payments, as well as liaising with dental companies and reps.

Reason for leaving: Relocating to Pietermaritzburg.

5)HFDC : Current position as the Head dental assistant as well as practice manager. Performing all duties regarding practice management, as well as maintenance of equipment and machinery and handling all staff performances.

I enjoy working under pressure and thinking outside the box, I believe in giving 110% of my ability to produce good working results. I am always willing to learn new things and technology and always enthusiastic to help.

I have worked with many medical software programmes such Medemass Live, Good-X, Emd and Medemass Elixir Live. I understand all ICD10 codes and dental codes as well as all dental terms.

I have a good knowledge of computers and work with it on a daily basis as well as computer generated in house cerec crowns.
