PROJECT- 3

This standard operating procedure is applicable for the process filing claims to multiple investors like FNMA, FHLMC and MI Servicer has foreclosure types such as REO and non-REO and the procedure of claiming amounts from the investor differs for each of the investor.

Residential mortgage deals with lending home loans. The loan amount will base on the credit score of the customer. After getting loan, if the borrower fails to repay the loan the property will get defaulted and will be takeover by the respective bank. Servicer will maintain the property instead of investor and will claim the money from the investor after it gets sold-out.

As we are dealing with Loan setup process, there is Initial fee and Guidelines of the required documents as per RESPA Act and so, while doing the claims, we should be very much sure that we are filing the claims within the set time frame and avoid losses to the Servicer.
