Worked in a laydown yard.

Shipping and receiving large bridge crane.

Using forklifts and a crane we loaded and unloaded large crane parts on and off 30 to 40 trucks. Carefully weighing so not to overload and stacking each part to maximize space in each container trucks.

Selected proper straps, chains and cables for different objects.

Learned a great deal about lifting and moving extremely heavy and large objects. Learned proper hand signals and daily safety operations and inspections

We also load transport and unload heavy machinery when on the road.

I learned how to use a variety of power tools.

How to safely transport heavy machinery and I also learned about trouble shooting problems with machinery.

Training with pipe stalking, as well as many hours of on hands —on training with pipe spacing.

Create work reports at the end of each shift. Rigger skills used forklift operator. Dismantle and store rigging equipment after use.
