Duties
Prepare annual extension work plan.
Develop budget plan for extension operations.
Undertake quarterly field visits (trainings, rallies, demo plots, etc.).
Develop and maintain a database for extension staff and their operational areas.
Develop and submit research proposals on key areas on extension to Management; consequently, upon approval of proposal conduct and submit reports to management.
Monitor extension partner activities in accordance with their target indicators and milestones.
Identify and highlight key issues in reports for the attention of management.
Monitor extension logistic support and use for field staff.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, semi-annual and annual reports on extension activities.
Attend collaborative meetings with Partners and report back.
Vet all minutes of meeting written by Technical Officer and submit report accordingly.
Develop a write-up on identified key extension message for design and dissemination to farmers.

Set-up Results and Strategic frameworks for the implementation of all the farmer led projects
Streamlined Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) on all projects
Conduct field based studies both of farms and with cocoa farmers
Conduct training of field officers on data collection (and data quality assurance) as well as the use of innovative tools in data collection.
