While working at the Guyana Agency I served in the capacity of Marking Officer under the supervision of Inventory Manager ensuring that the Petroleum (fuel) entering in and moving around Guyana is legally marked.
Assigned to various Bulk terminals in the Guyana carrying out marking programme.
Documentation of Oil Tankers registration number, destination, quantity of fuel and marker concentrate added to fuel.
De-canning, distribution and reconciling of the marker concentrate.
Ensuring that terminals are prepared according to safety regulations and legal requirement before applying marker concentrate [this was done in collaboration with the Guyana Revenue Authority-GRA]
Ensuring that oil companies follow the legal requirements of the Guyana Energy Agency [GEA] by providing when requested, valid license to store and distribute fuel before marking staff administer the marker concentrate.
