JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Prepare material requisition (Purchase Requisition Note)

Proven competencies in world class inventory management, procurement strategies, forecasting and replenishment, material coding and stock handling

Knowledge in systems implementation for materials and stores management

Skills in Materials Movements and maintenance operations, process quality assurance and safety standards and document control

Excellent written, communication, inter personal, liaison and problem solving skills with the ability to work in multi cultural environment

Reporting to Department Head / Co - Coordinators of Materials Department.

Evaluating stock levels Physical Stock as well as System Stock. And maintains a computerized inventory management information system.

Supervise the Material handling, transport, stacking/storage and issue of project materials and Consumables

Ensure the safe method and precautions during the handling and transportation of materials and also the safe storage of material.

On inspection of materials:-

Verification of IMIR with regard to specification of materials/size and conformance to MESC numbers.

Inspection of material at site physically with spec. given in IMIR. Issue

To Site for fabrication/erection

Check physical condition of materials.

Check the marking/size etched on material and verify with documents.

Ensure original manufacturers certificate availability.

Verify the wall thickness and schedule of materials.

Tagging of all materials to confirm the identity and traceability.

If found any damages Rejection and return of materials.

Checking conformity of materials with test certificates given and standards liad down.

Liaise with the QA QC dept for the receiving inspection formalities.

COMPUTER PROFICIENCY

Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, Power Point, Access) and Internet.

Good Knowledge in Orion Package & Xpedeon – Store Software.

Safety Environment, Fire Extinguisher & Fire warden Course for PDO (Petroleum Development Oman) H2s Course, FIRST AIDER Course, HLFS Course
