Working with MDS coordinators on making sure their assessments are accurate, that their care plans are focused on the residents, that they are trained and proficient on PDPM. 6/2022- Present Madison Creek Partners- MDS Resource. Review MDS’s for accuracy and Care plans for compliance, Mock surveys for clinical. Worked with MDS coordinators on accuracy of their MDS’s, on making sure their care plans were focused on the residents, financial quarterly reviews on MDS’s, helped during annual survey support the team. Trained new MDS coordinators. Trained each year with changing going into effect for Oct 1. Work with MDS and IDT team on QM’s and Star ratings, also on case mix. Monitoring QRP each quarter.

1/2022-5/2022 Vivage Healthcare Clinical Reimbursement Coordinator PRN Worked out of the corporate office helping in any building that needed a MDSC keeping their MDS’s, and care plans up to date until they could hire a new MDSC.

8/2021-12/2021 Peaks Healthcare Director of Reimbursement in Wyoming Worked with 3 troubled buildings helping both MDS and Clinical resource, 1 building was a focus building. Our team helped put in place systems for all aspects of the building for their team to be successful in business and for the residents. Trained new MDS coordinators, helped train PDPM and case mix. Was a resource for this company until they could find a resource MDS in state.

10/2017- 8/2021 Life Care of America Reimbursement Specialist for 16 buildings (CO, HI) Work with MDS coordinators on accuracy of their MDS’s, on making sure their care plans were focused on the residents, financial quarterly reviews on MDS’s, helped during annual surveys support the team. Trained new MDS coordinators. Monitored MDS coordinators for all compliance issues related to MDS. Education with each year’s changes going into effect Oct 1. Oversight of the RAI process for accuracy, help train on case mix, monitor monthly/ quarterly reports from CMS. Monitor QRP’s Quarterly and Annually, monitor QM’s and work on bringing up any 4 STAR or below QM’s and monitor the score of 5 STAR building to make sure they don’t drop below.

2012 -2014 AMBERWOOD COURT SDC/HR/ADON • Successfully managed a nursing organization consisting of 80+ nursing service staff at a 75-bed acute and long-term care facility with a full complement of services. • Engaged with Stroke Teams resulting in successful accreditation as a Primary Stroke Center, all skilled nurses are stroke certified making this the first long term care center in Denver to be Stroke certified. • Restructured nursing in the building that had been all long-term care now has 25 skilled beds and trained nurses to handle post op rehab clients.
