• Conduct daily safety inspection and motivates work force to work with safety.

• Conduct periodic inspection of tools & equipment and ensure right tools are used for specific job.

• Conduct investigation of accidents, finding the root causes and recommending preventive measures which need to be followed.

• Recommending the temporary facilities and performing a lead role in facilitating them before starting of the project.

• Maintain proper housekeeping at the site.

• Check the Scaffolding as per the standards and recommending for the corrections if found with any deviations.

• Make daily inspection of the workers if they are in prescribed PPE or not.

• Making daily, weekly and monthly reports and analyzing for the repeated observations so that the preventive measures can be found out.

• Always keep in touch with all workers to remind safety.

• Conducting weekly Site Safety walk through with the company management

• Constantly inspect the job site for the purpose of discovering hazardous conditions and unsafe practices and arrange to correct the same before they can cause accident.

• Checking all the documents of the heavy equipment’s before they are going to be mobilized to the site for work.

• Doing initial inspection of the crane when it comes to the site

• Checking the records of all heavy equipment’s and lifting accessories

• Check the fire extinguishers condition and maintain the record of its location and condition.

• Check availability of First Aid Kit.

• Check proper clearances are maintained while working below near Power Lines.

• Ensure workers wearing safety gears like Safety Harness and their tie off, Safety Gloves, Safety Shoes, and Hard-hats etc.

• Ensure safe and proper distribution termination of temporary construction power cables.

• Check proper warning signs, warning tapes and barricades installed or not where required to prevent the incident / accidents at the construction site.

• Check of proper monthly color coding on tools.

• Check of work permit at site.

• Conduct the tool box meeting and giving good safety instructions to new persons in job site.
