Summary

I was previously employed at the McAlester Army Ammunition Plant. McAlester, Oklahoma. I have production experience indoors and outdoors. Have worked on and around drilling rigs with 3-5 years' experience. I am familiar with Varco top drives and Canrig top drives, various mud pumps and cat motors, SCR houses and VFD houses. Manual and hydraulic tongs, st80s (iron roughnecks). Rotating mouse holes, hydraulic catwalks. I have experience on Kelley rigs, top drive rigs and new age rigs. I am familiar with mixing mud chemicals and additives used for circulating and making drilling mud. Various safety classes. IADC rig pass, CPR, First Aid, H2s training. Oil and gas training. Forklift and man lift certified. I have production experience, construction and various other work ethics. I would also work outside the oilfield.

Munitions Destroyer

I receive, stow and rewarehouse all types of ammunition and components. Perform visual inspection of material that we handle and report back to our work leader any effects, incorrect labeling, or shortage. I remove projectiles, cartridges, propelling charges and other explosive material from magazines and load material on trucks to transport it to demolition area on a five-ton truck. I work with the knowledge of demo procedures for various types of explosives, and place charges to initiate detonation. I maintain a Commercial Driver’s License in the state of Oklahoma, have a Type B with Hazardous endorsement.

MCAAP, MCALESTER, OK EXSPLOSIVE WORKER Sept. 2014 to apr 2022

Operates one or a few automatic machines and perform one or a few hand assembly operations in a production line environment which involve a limited number of operations and require judgment and manual skill, such as operating a vacuum machine to draw off powder charges or a pull-apart machine to break down fixed cartridge ammunition for reloading or demilitarization. Knowledge of the cycle of operation of one or a few automatic machines and the sequence of hand procedures to load, operate, and unload a hydraulic defusing machine. May also be required to operate a vacuum unit to draw off powder from shell casings or other explosives containers, exercising knowledge of explosives practices to prevent or to neutralize powder spills and knowledge of the type of munitions to assure that all powder has been removed from cavities or crevices so that the item has been ‘completely neutralized. Knows how to handle the fused projectile safely and quickly and how to handle the fuse, how to load and operate the machine, how the machine should function, and what indications of malfunction to look for. Shut off the machine in case of malfunction or error indications, and referring the problem to a supervisor or higher-grade employee. Receive, stow, issue and re warehouse all types of Navy, Army, Marine Corp and Air Force ammunition (live and inert) and ammunition components. Opens car doors; checks and verifies car seals from off station and on station rail cars/trailers; performs

visual inspection of materiel handled, reporting to work leader or supervisor any damage, incorrect labeling or shortage/overage. Separate items according to lot, stock number, nomenclature, and condition code. Mark off grids and stows in uniformity according to U.S. Army Material Command Drawings. Checks, verifies, and completes receipt/issue documents. Complete, checks and signs magazine Data Card, AMC Form 1385. Repairs broken containers, re-palletizes ammunition or components from broken or damaged containers. Breaks down, segregates and re palletizes ammunition components and containers. Required to use gauges or other measuring devices. Use common

hand tools such as banders, crimpers, utters, saws, hammers, etc. Re-palletizes ammunition and components from light pallets and boxes for lot consolidation. Assures that light boxes are painted and properly identified and light pallets are properly marked and placed at the front of the stow. Also inspect magazines and contents for conditions contributing to deterioration of ammunition. Inventories and checks magazine data cards for accuracy. Perform duties which may involve handling and/or storing hazardous waste material.

Performs assignments consisting of a few frequently repeated actions, working on a production line or assisting higher grade employees. This includes assignments such as checking munitions for obvious defects, replacing small explosive charges in bomblets or igniters, removing nose or base plugs with special spanners, or screening bulk explosives for metal or other contaminants. Receives detailed instructions, oral and written, outlining work to be done, materials and methods to be used, and safety procedures to be observed. I perform hand operations such as safely handling small units of explosive charges and placing them in rocket casings; using go-no-go gauges to check dimensions of shells, rockets or explosive charges; hand unscrewing and disassembly or threading and assembly of standard components; simple assembly; and using spring or beam scales to weigh explosives or other materials to be mixed with the explosives.

They understand the basic safety practices covering work with explosives such as placing condemned explosives in a

water bath and limitations on amounts of explosives in the work area. They are able to recognize a variety of obvious

unsafe conditions or defects such as rusted, dented, cracked, or leaking containers or the presence of objects or

materials in the powder which might cause accidental explosion or burning.
