Integration Infrastructure Platform Project: The 21st Century Network (21CN) programme is the network transformation project of BT.

As part of this BTs telephone network will move from the present Public Switched Telephone Network (PSTN) to an Internet Protocol (IP) system. The key point is that this should not be seen as only a network transformation, this also needs a major change in BT systems and the way BT does business today. On a technical level, BT needs to change its internal systems to be able to handle 21CN.
