Machinist Apprentice- Clean and recondition engine blocks and engine heads for resurfacing machined surfaces. Howmet Aerospace Fastening Systems Dec. 2016- June 2020 Aluminum Drilling Tech 2 & Drilling Operator sets up the machines with specific gears, cams, drills, and collets to National Aerospace Standards (NAS). Duties include: checking quality of parts as they were manufactured. Testing parts to every set up in order to meet quality and safety standards. Maintained an area clear of foreign debris every hour to ensure quality standard of parts. Critical thinking and troubleshooting steps applied when the parts (FAIL).
