EXPERIENCE

Tractor Trailer Driver

Middle Bay Transportation. January 1, 2019 - present Middle Bay Transportation consisted of picking up containers and delivering to different customers. This procedure is usually performed through the dispatcher. Information and release numbers are sent to tablets or phones that information is then given to the Port Authority employees for the location of that freight to be retrieved then delivered to customers. My delivery areas usually consisted of states up and down the East Coast corridors.

Bus Driver

Reston Limousine / Sterling, VA April 10, 2018 – January 2, 2020 Pre-trip maintenance inspection, cleaning and tidying up. To pick up and drop off passengers at designated locations according to scheduled routes by observing local traffic laws. I followed procedures to make sure all passengers were safe, and I also kept passengers informed of possible delays.

Solid Waste / Baltimore, Maryland July 29, 2019 – January 25, 2020 Southwest Solid Waste Supervisor I superved a unit of 25 to 30 employees, commercial and non-commercial drivers. Employees worked nonconventional work weeks that included weekends, evening hours and callback for emergencies as required. Work is performed in the field where there may be exposure to inclement weather, poor driving conditions, dusty or muddy environs, animal and insect bites and hazardous waste at the times.

Monitored work activities organized and assigned daily work assignments inspected work and prescribed standards. Investigated complaints and conducted orientation and trainings for new employees. Tracked employee’s time for payroll also disciplined employees when needed. I had to communicate with business and homeowners about any problems they may be having with plumbing issues in their home or business.
