General dispensing drugs to patients

Ensuring that there is always adequate stock of drugs to meet the patients needs. Management of pharmacy finances which include paying the employees salaries,ensuring that the premise rent is paid on time

Ensuring that the various taxes are remitted on time to KRA,these include PAYE,VAT and filling the annual tax returns for the business. Looking for drug and non pharmaceutical tenders from NGO’ s and government institutions and ensuring that they are delivered in case of those awarded. Making sure that suppliers are paid on time within the agreed period of time. Keeping records of the purchases and pharmacy inventory and ensuring there is rational drug use making sure that no drug expires within the pharmacy. Supervising the team of 8 staff that worked directly or indirectly under me and reporting of our progress to the directors of the pharmacy and advising them accordingly when need be.

Assisting in assessing the general needs of the hospital pharmacy and advising where necessary.

Passed Level 1 and Level 2 before sitting for the final KNEC exams Passed the KNEC exams and sat for the professional exams offered by the Pharmacy and Poison’ s Board.

Enrolled as a pharmaceutical technologist and issued a practicing license. SKILLS

I have strong organizational,administrative and analytical skills. This can be demonstrated by the manner in which I managed to run the pharmacy for the years I have worked there. I have ensured that my employer is satisfied and there is growth within the facility. There was increase in client base which reflected directly on the increased sales yearly.

Ability to work within a team as a team leader most of the times due to my strong interpersonal traits,ability to listen and willingness to learn. I am also good at following instructions,multitasking and keen on details . I am conversant with various computer packages Ms Word,Excel,Power Point and various softwares.
