Keeps check on the execution of plans, improvements, and projects instituted by the supervisor and recommends improvements in departmental procedures.

Contacts Judges, Court Commissioners, Attorneys, Court Clerks, Witnesses, Doctors, Governmental Agencies, and other departments to obtain and confirm information or to arrange medial appointment, depositions, hearings, etc.
Maintains case status records and files by posting court actions and court dates to calendars, index cards, and file jackets; files case by next court appearance or closes file. Screens and routes all telephone calls; furnishes information to the public, attorneys, and authorized law enforcement personnel over the telephone or at a counter in accordance with established departmental policies and procedures regarding the release of confidential information. Performs general office duties such as filing, ordering and maintaining office supplies, opening and distributing mail, compiling data for reports, and keeping logs and date books.
