Job Responsibilities: The Company involves activities like major construction works like construction of high raised buildings, roads, bridges, flyovers and industrial constructions. I was responsible for maintaining absolute safety in my assigned site. The main activities carried out by me were checking the permits, providing barricades and signboards, conducting Safety meetings to the employees and sometimes to the client. To provide safe access for the employees to the work place, safe-working conditions at the place of work, providing appropriate PPE to the workers and mainly developing accountability for the employees.

JOB Profiles a Safety Professional:

Perform safety inductions for new arrivals at site, Carryout toolbox talks and safety training.

Ensure that all persons are made aware of precautionary measures while performing works.

Monitor HSE control of the work site and operation of the project safety plan.

To ensure all statutory posters / notices or displayed at the work place.

To ensure all accidents and dangerous occurrences are reported and necessary remedial action is taken.

I shall conduct regular field inspections and record all safety deficiencies and recommended corrections in the discrepancy.

Familiar with major safety programs like JHA, LOTO, RISK ASSESSMENTS etc.,

Ensure permit to work system is properly followed.

On daily basis I shall ensure that all operatives including subcontractors or working in a safe manner and complying safety regulations.
