DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITY:

Review and study the project standard & specification requirement and engineering requirement.

Out specific works related to monitoring, inspection, and controlling all welds activities within the section work scopes, within the field in accordance with engineering requirements, Quality control, Documents procedures, requirements and safety requirements.

Established the field Quality Control, shall be instructed to ensure that the inspection requirements identified w/in the relevant Inspection Test Plan(s) are implemented on the project and the resulting Quality Record’s are produced.

Verify the approved Quality Control Records, with in the discipline ensuring records are generated and expeditiously by the sub-contractor in accordance with the relevant ITP.

Inspection and monitoring on the fabrication and erection as per IFC drawings check orientation/routing of fittings, horizontality and verticality of piping, check the piping components.

Ensuring that the requirement of Quality assurance are implemented and adhered to during the course of the project.

Coordinate with sub-contractor and client representative for daily & routine inspection activities.

Witness inspection of all type of testing as instructed ensuring that the Testing Method, Inspection Methods and acceptable criteria are in accordance w/ agreed procedure.

Witness of Hydro-testing, Pneumatic testing, Air blowing, flushing w/ owner representative & signed off.

Review and verify the (MTC) material test certificate and checked for damaged prior to fabrication & erection.

Review /Interpret radiography and other non destructive examination and control NDE requirements.

Review & implementation of PQR, WPS, Filler Metal and witness welder qualification test and mechanical testing.

Review all necessary Documents and Quality Control Records for adequacy and verify results & prepare for turnover.

Responsible for organizing, implementing and executing inspection and test for welds and piping in accordance with project code and specification requirement and safety requirement.

Review method of statement and inspection test plan ITP, PQR WPS, MTC as per client specification.

Responsible for monitoring inspect and administering quality of work, ensuring that all work area in accordance with the approved drawing and specification required and make sure the inspection, witnessing, hold points. Client / owner are complied w/ as identified in the Inspection & Test Plan (ITP).

Monitoring piping fabrication work, fit-up, welding and erection and coordinate to sub-contractor to assure that construction activities effecting safety and quality are compliance with project requirements.

Prepare punch list for completed line and review test packages prior for hydro testing.

Witness of welder qualification test as per client requirement.

Organizes and executes system and subsystem walk downs for compliance with code and owner requirements.

Review of inspection record for accuracy and provide input documents control for record preparation for turnover.

To plan and implement monitoring and inspection programs in the assigned unit and advice timely action to ensure that the stationary equipment, piping, welding etc…are safe for operation.

Plan on line and shut down inspection program for stationary equipment, piping and safety valves and ensure its implementation as scheduled.

Carry out inspection of all stationary equipment and piping for condition assessment and identify causes of deterioration and recommended suitable remedial action and ensure that all documents / certificates are properly maintain.

Issue repair / welding procedures, inspect and certify / review welding procedures of contractors / or new projects, and to witness welders qualification test.

Coordinate with maintenance operation and external/internal inspection services in performing and fallow up all inspection jobs / activities and review specification concerning of stationary equipment and piping installation, dismantling & testing prior to operation of system.

Performed on stream inspection of stationary equipment component accessible during operation.

Establish and revise inspection intervals base on condition found during inspection and testing, witness and evaluate all required test performed on stationary equipment such as shell and tube test.

Ensure that all equipment records/inspection program are updated with inspection reports/certificate etc.
