Recently, I have 5 Years of experience as a Loss Control/Risk Assessment subcontractor in SC/GA/FL, where I performed Agricultural, Commercial, Institutional & Residential properties and business operations for General Liability, Liability & Worker’s Comp. Additionally, for 25 years as a private farm owner I experienced ranch management duties and animal husbandry were performed.

Prior to living in SC I resided on the East Coast of FL for over 35 years, where my work experience included the following:

Licensed Insurance Agent/Producer for 8 years and served 2 years as an Agency manager,

4 years in Restaurant Management,

6 years in animal husbandry, to include equine services as a licensed farrier, exotic animal veterinary care and farm management,

5 years as a Pet Store Owner/Operator,

4+ years as a fulltime business manager/partner for a Septic Tank installation/repair business.

(15) years as a Co-owner of Treasure Coast Management Co., a Property Management business for high-end beachside communities, Condominium associations and Private clients.

I also studied Bank mortgage, Financial Management training and Asset management seminar/webinar courses with certifications.

I was actively engaged in community softball leagues and was president of the Local P.T.S.O. for 3 years, volunteered as a little league manager/coach and assisted and helped manage the administration of a city league for 3 years in Fellsmere, FL.

To Summarize:

My personal Farm Management and animal lover experience on our former 25-acre farm includes:

30 years of Equine, Bovine and Canine care and breeding.

Cared for my 22 head of horses, mare care, breeding farm and working on tasks in the field with equine vets for treatment to horses for their clients.

Breeding- A-I certified reproduction and raising livestock including exotic animals.

7 years of farrier experience barefoot trimming and hoof care services to 18 clients on a regular schedule in Indian River and Brevard Co.

I have worked with special needs for therapy at my farm and assisting with Equine Vet Services and animal transport.

I also managed my personal exotic farm with all Animal Husbandry responsibilities.

Note: I recently relocated from SC to Citra, FL and purchased a 9-Acre farm, where I have adequate and separate space as needed, to provide foster care and provide therapy/recovery sessions for any domestic breed of animal, (large or small) with special care needs.

As part of a “family” TEAM, I work with my husband and business partner, which I truly enjoy and find extremely rewarding. We also play Co-Ed softball and enjoy horseback riding in our spare time.
