Initially hired as Gas Balancing Accountant to work with IT department to rewrite the AS400 program for accurate portrayal of gas balancing, which solved over 60% of internal gas balancing issues. Promoted to Agave Energy Accountant to manage all accounting processes for the company acquisition of Agave Energy. After the acquisition, was offered further promotion to Accounts Payable Supervisor to manage the accounts payable department. Reduced payables from 90 days to 35 days for processing over a five-year period, which doubled the number of vendors offering discounts to the company. After success in payables, was promoted to Associate Landman to head researching and purchasing of land and royalties for future oil and gas exploration in northern New Mexico, West Texas, Arkansas and Louisiana.
