I’m currently a server at Discovery Village at the Melbourne location. I recently was commended for being in my position for 1 year straight now. It’s an upscale retirement center for Independent residents and also Assisted Living residents. They also have a memory care center. I work in the residential dining room. We are responsible for vacuuming the large dining room daily along with cleaning all tables and placements etc. We are required also mop the floors up to twice daily and take out the trash twice daily. We always prepare what items we will need for service ahead of time because it needs to be available and we need to be aware of what is in stock.
