Women Just Like Me 2018-Present

A non profit organization that offers critically needed services in counseling, mentoring, social-emotional development training with a strong emphasis on conflict resolution, relationship-building, and emotional intelligence in both their personal and professional lives. The organization's goals are to promote mental and emotional wellness, improve quality of life and to build self-confidence and self-esteem in clients, primarily the youth.

Arts Impact Middle School (AIMS)

● Pioneer of the Victory in Sustaining Abstinence (VISA) program- designed to educate female adolescents on Reproductive and Female Health conversations to prevent unplanned pregnancy and impulsive decisions based on emotions.

● Lead facilitator of (VISA), creating a space for female adolescents to share challenges and collectively discover solutions to community and personal barriers for Middle and High School students.

● Select, recruit, and hire program instructors and other organizational leaders to facilitate workshop modules consisting of Social and Emotional Learning (SEL), Adolescent Development, Goal-Setting and Life Skills.

Franklin County CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocate)

● Designed “Helping Teens and Parents through the Covid Crisis” suicide prevention training. The project was created in efforts to offer support and resources to pre teens and teens struggling with anxiety, stress, and depression due to the impact of the Covid-19 and the pandemic.

● Assembled mental health clinicians and professionals to conduct an online training for Guardian Ad Litems on Mental Health Education: Stress Management, Self-Esteem, Assertiveness Training and Coping Techniques, the training was also useful for CEU.

● 2021 completion of classes to become a Guardian Ad-Litem of abused and neglected children residing in Franklin County.

Scottwood Elementary

● Collaboration with Assistant Principal/ Program Coordinator to mentor and facilitate SEL activities, including but not limited to: conflict resolution, relationship skills, interpersonal communication (with emphasis on listening), and emotional management.
