Principal investigator (PI)/project manager on grants awarded by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute of Health. Senior Reactor Operator/Department Outage Lead October 1995- October 2004

Corrective Action Program Manager – Root Cause, Apparent Cause and Corrective Action program management. Served as Operations Department Outage Lead – Planned and managed more than 8,000 refueling outage work activities, avoiding license violations and manpower conflicts.

Licensed, Senior Reactor Operator, Control Room Supervisor. Managed safe, reliable operations of a commercial nuclear power plant. Supervised activities of 10 or more plant operators.

Work Control Center Supervisor: Planned and approved maintenance. Supervised technicians in the execution of maintenance and system operational status changes and testing.

Project Manager, Hope Creek Control Room Redesign: Managed budget of more than $2.4 million. Project on schedule and $400,000 under budget. This required the evaluation of new communications equipment, new power requirements, structural and seismic considerations. Coordinated with six or more internal departments and three outside contractors.

Instructor. Trained submarine officers in underwater acoustic theory, weapons and ships systems. Lead instructor for management training.

USS Kamehameha SSBN 642, nuclear powered fleet ballistic missile submarine - Officer of The Deck and Duty Officer: directly responsible for all submarine operations at sea and in port. Nuclear Power Plant Shift Engineer: managed the operation and maintenance of a nuclear reactor plant and steam powered propulsion plant

Assistant Weapons Officer: supervised and trained 18 technicians in operation and maintenance of the ship’s missile launcher and fire control systems. Nuclear Weapons Security Officer.
