OSP Engineer/Project manager for the Kentucky Wired project. It’s a $640 Million Dollar project revamping Kentucky Telecom Infrastructure. Installing over 4,000 miles of 288 strands of SM Fiber to all 120 counties within Kentucky. This includes 20 telecom Huts with $1.3 million Dollars of equipment and 12 Data centers at KSP, CDC sites and Kentucky’s colleges and 5 Extenders/repeaters.
Responsible for- Review and approve all design, construction drawings, Fiber test results and deliverables.
Managed over 50 contractors, Suppliers, set up and negotiated labor and material contracts.
Site visits to make sure construction was following the design, NEC Codes, EIA/TIA standards, quality and safety standards.
Conducted daily, weekly, construction, project, design, escalation, executive management meetings, Conf calls, reviewed and generated reports.
Worked with the following software programs, MS Office, MS Project, MS Word, MS Excel, Visio, Aconex, 3GIS, Google Earth
Manages Aerial routes, pole make ready, Directional boring, right-a-way’s and utility easements.
