CMP NSO Planner 09/2010 to 03/2021

Since transition from Oracle over to SAP, my role as a CMP NSO/ Scheduler Build Planner has changed, learning multiple t-codes within the SAP program, and still learning new t-codes, while working within the PROMPT (PROduction Management and Planning Tool) daily. The following below is my daily activity within SAP and PROMPT programs that I interact with, I use for my NSO SHIP KITS and CMP builds for HEADS, PADS, Lasers/RTPC’s, out of SMG Manufacturing, for CMP Plant 4070 and SGP Plant 4060 Manufacturing, and sometimes on rare occasions for AGS Spares. This is for all production control releases and planned orders under my planner codes assigned to me in CMP Org.

Daily common T-codes I work in SAP

COOIS - Production Order Information System, run reports daily for released production orders and future planned orders within my planner codes, my MRP releases.

MIGO - Goods Movement – I use for my goods receipts, goods issues, stock transfers and transfer postings for production orders and or single material, like MTR’s, MRB movements.

CO02 - Change Production Order – I view my production orders and status on final issues and any updates and changes due to QN’s/DMR’s, CRF changes

MD04 - Display Stock/Requirements Situation - review demand and PO’s for material, also production releases for modules.

CO27 - Picking list – Creating pick signals for my release production orders and unplanned

ZACGR001 – View Shortage Report for single production released and planned orders

MMBE - Stock Overview to view stock on hand in what is in unrestricted and blocked

MB51 - Material Doc. List- Material movements transaction history

QM12 - Change list of tasks – List of QN’s/DMR’s to view assigned to me

Daily working in PROMPT

Tool Management app – This tool provides module and system status, along with revised/actual module schedules and commits. – Used during our production meetings.

Shortage Management app – Tool to manage planned and production order shortages. I used to run my shortage report under my planner codes

Shipment Management app - Provides Tool Shipment and Packing status from Kitting to Crating. Review status on my production orders and percentages in SMS/SRT, Ryder kitting and crate complete status.

Logistics Management app – Logistics Tracking System (LTS). Find physical location of Material coming to Manufacturing.

Change Request From (CRF) – Tool used to communicate schedule/cancellations and configurations changes for tools and modules, I review daily if any in my bucket for pending endorsement.

Global NSO Database – review new sales orders, projects assigned to me for material review and provide commit to material in database for my PM’s and Santa Clara

SRT Request Database – Requests sent out for new orders to be loaded in SMS prior to releasing any new orders in SAP related to ship-kit NSO’s.

My previous and current roles have been purchasing, create internal requisitions, create and manage discrete jobs, create transfer order, JIT’s, pre-shortage analysis prior to release, manage PMT, Work center interface, VMO purchasing interface, Ryder logistics interface, create pick slips and ship documents, Non-conformance, DMR’s, RTS resolution, plan weekly preparation and shipments, and run weekly pre-shortage, PMT, discrete job listing reports for updates and meetings. Worked closely with logistics, and have done ship docs, and pick slips, as well as create SR’s and CI’s. Been the most part hands on type of person, making sure material would not only arrive to what it was committed to, but as well to the right destination and locations.
