Automotive – Steel Processor. Press Blanking, Cut to Length, Laser cutting – Tier 1& - 2018 to 2022

Regional Quality Manager – Responsible for all aspects of Quality of 3 plants Approx. 375 employees across

3 shifts. Also responsible for Quality Management Quality Systems, IATF 16949/ISO 90001 certification and

compliance. Other job responsibilities included: Layered process and product audits, Quality metrics and

reporting to senior staff, involved in leading quality kaizen events. Other responsibilities included customer

performances, daily communications, cost of poor quality, employee evaluations and quality surveys

associated with the Quality Works program. Managed 10 quality department employees. Customers Ford,

Stellantis, Cleveland Cliffs, US Steel, Arcelor Mittal.

IAC Automotive, Wauseon OH – Instrument Panels, Injection Molding Foam in

Place, Door Assembly and Cock Pits – Tier 1. 2015 to 2018

Quality Manager – Responsible for all aspects of Quality. Plant size 1,200 employees / 3 shifts – UAW. Also responsible for part Quality and customer satisfaction for 12 customer plants in North America along with supplier procurement and quality for over 90 suppliers. Other job responsibilities include: Champion TS16949, QPA and LPA audits, Quality Metrics and reporting to customers and senior management at IAC. Other responsibilities include customer performance, daily communication and cost of poor quality along with all AIAG core tools associated with PPAP, and engineering changes. Quality Manager – Responsible for all aspects of Quality for 2 plants across 2 shifts. 25 employees in dept. Company is TS 16949 compliant. Areas of responsibilities include weld department, development of poke yokes and purchasing of weld components associated with Mig and Resistance welders. Primary customer liaison for company regarding all quality activities. Also, development of supplier procurement. Management of all PPAP and engineering changes associated with Quality. Development and reporting of metrics to senior management. Current customers include TRW, KTH, Unipres, and Tesla.

Windsor Machine, Taylor MI – Automotive Headrests & Wire Forming - Tier 1 2013 to 2014

Quality Manager – Responsible for Quality Department across 3 shifts 30 employees in department, including Assistant Quality Manager and Quality Engineer. Management oversight included high pressure foam line, resistance welding processes, riveters, wire forming and assembly. Other responsibilities include customer liaison, all AIAG activities, including PPAP process. Job duties also include reporting business metrics specific to manufacturing and quality. Current customers are Ford, Johnson Controls, Bridgewater Group and Lear. Also implemented and launched layer process audits in plant.

Jaytec, Milan MI – Tube mill, Tube bending & light assembly 2011 – 2013

Quality Engineer - Responsibilities: Manage Quality Department and staff on three shifts, customer liaison relating to quality of new programs, and engineering changes, development and continuation of Supplier Quality, implementation and management of all areas of Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP), reports associated with cost of quality, continuous improvement, problem solving and corrective actions to senior management, also responsible for all aspects of Quality relative to AIAG certification.

Tooling Engineer - Responsibilities: Development of tooling design and program management, customer liaison for engineering and design feasibility, development and procurement of suppliers as related to program requirements, also oversee the development of tooling and design of aluminum castings, models, patterns and gages.

With over 35 years’ experience & training in the automotive industry I have developed a variety of skills & tools that enable me to function as a manager or team player within various areas of business. My experience includes but is not limited to, management, implementation and use of quality systems, problem solving, and continuous improvement, development of tooling, internal and external auditing, lean manufacturing, costing, supplier procurement and customer service. I have successfully managed and launched hundreds of programs from various job positions, which allow me to understand the importance of cost, quality and timing needed to be successful in business.
