Duties, Accomplishments, and Related Skills
I meet with taxpayers by appointment to discuss the issues on hand from a simple transcript to working on necessity of inputting a payment plan according to the account information on hand and according to the appropriate tax laws and procedures in the IRMs.
Provide workshops for my group in order to keeps skills refreshed and also new shills as needed for new hires. I help to provided assistance to my manager to keep work flow moving as needed.

Duties, Accomplishments and Related Skills:
I complete multiple tasks with changing or competing deadlines in addition to special projects. For Example, I am currently spearheading an initiative to evaluate and review the overhead and direct employee time data to identify trends and recommend potential resolutions. This is in addition to my normal duties.
I give advice, counsel or instruction to employee(s) on work and administrative matters. I communicate with internal and external stakeholder(s) to identify and gather information by phone and/or email. I respond to inquiries from upper management and analysts regarding employees, training, travel, office closures or issues, taxpayer matters and trends. I compile reports and information necessary to maintain and evaluate operational goals. I updated and input the contacts not served and survey card counts on the FA SharePoint site.
I review employee’s time and attendance through FAMIS and SETR. I review employee’s travel and expenses through Concur. I update and extract pertinent information from SharePoint sites and shared drives. I represent my area and/or group during program conference calls. I coordinate team meetings and draft meeting notes. I share organizational communications with my workgroup and peers, appropriately tailoring information to the intended audience.
I update and maintain the 795/3210 binder tracking system for returns and forms mailed to the service center. I complete Approval and Key Verification in RPSCC. I analyze correspondence and remittance received in the office to ensure it is properly answered and delivered to the intend party. I utilize IDRS to research incoming mail and establish controls through ACTON/ENMOD/TXMOD and I prepare 3210s for shipment when necessary.
I organize, stock and ordered forms for the Taxpayer Assistance Center. I complete the Balance On Hand (BOH) and Due In Survey reports to ensure the office has a sufficient inventory of forms for the year. I analyze the reports and current inventory to adjust future orders to reduce waste from overstocking. I monitor the forms for newer revisions and replace and/or order new products when necessary.
When taxpayers were able to leave a message on the 3709 Phone Line, I would contact them to determine their needs, refer, educate and/or schedule them for services with the appropriate office. In rare situations, I assist with the resolution of hostile, difficult or distressed taxpayers to include bomb and suicide threats.
I send or set up meeting reminders and deadlines (Contacts Not Served, Survey Cards) for timely input by using Outlook to ensure timely response.
I use Excel daily in my duties to pull various reports to complete the input needed for Survey Cards, Manager Deadlines on Share point.
I use Word to compile and complete the weekly meeting minutes for group distribution.
I use Powerpoint to create and teach various workshops within my group to provide knowledge needed from SETR input, Travel guidelines, and Binder related issues like Form 3919 placement.
