I carry entrepreneurial skills as a freelance musician for over 20 years, excellent communication skills through 13 years of experience as a teacher, and my interpersonal skills led my colleagues to select me as Music Department Chair for 3 years. My management philosophy is centered around coalescing the varied needs of all individual members of my immediate team and determining the best path forward to benefit the unit.
