Roles and Responsibilities:

Proactive Service management and monitoring of US based customer Network devices from a remote NOC.

Working on both System NOC and Circuit NOC, commonly known as Global NOC.

Configuring and implementing of Composite Network models consists of Cisco 7600, 7200, 3800 series routers and Cisco 2950, 3500, 5000, 6500 Series switches.

In System NOC, monitoring & managing all the infrastructures and networks, which is the backbone of Mitel Cloud Services, as they are one of the leading VOIP service provider worldwide.

In Circuit NOC, managing the managed customers of Mitel, where Mitel has provided data network connectivity services along with VOIP services.

Document troubleshooting steps and service restoration details, Create and submit knowledge articles. Making sure day to day SLA are met for P1 & P2 tickets, opening, engaging respective team, managers in the bridge call, sending high priority notifications, creating JIRA.

Identify & mitigate fraudulent activity over the Mitel VOIP network, using different tools like Equinox Protector, OCOM, Boss Portal etc.

Resolving incidents tickets reported by L1 team such as disk space issues, High CPU utilization issues, High mem utilization issues, abnormal service crash issues and restarting services on both Linux and windows production environment machines.

Provide second level support to resolve customer technical problems and provide guidance to the tier 1 techs & troubleshoot portal issues, VoIP issues (phone connectivity, call quality, call completion) and network issues & work with ShoreTel’s unified communication platform.

Experienced on open tickets with carriers to investigate call quality problems and downed Ethernet, DS1, MPLS circuits & client facing experience -troubleshoot customer issues on site. Configure Cisco 1921 and HP MSR-102 routers and cisco switches.

Having hands on experience of configuration of Cisco IOS routers and switches.

Conversions to BGP WAN routing. Which will be to convert WAN routing from OSPF to BGP (OSPF is used for local routing only) which involves new wan links.

Assisted in MPLS migrations, implemented a backup for the existing WAN connection using site-to-site IP sec VPN tunnels

Configuring & managing different routers such as CISCO, HP, Edge Marc routers & configuring backup tunnel service at CPE & NEP.

Monitoring alerts for different services as 3rd party MPLS, Jump servers & Core routers.

Work with Change Management on scheduling maintenance window for critical locations and clients that need advance notification in accordance with SLA.

Troubleshoot L2 and L3 devices like Cisco & HP routers, Cisco switches and work with ISPs to resolve configuration issues.

Handling onsite customer and troubleshooting on corporate connectivity & experience on creating Incident & Jira services.

Alert analysis- Analyze alerts that are generated and inform customers the root causes/ next steps & Responsible for expert review and analysis of logs and alert by network professionals.

Excellent experience in handling P1 and P3 incidents and working towards resolution of the issue.

Understanding and analyzing network outage and its root cause. Providing value services to the clients as per the standard business framework.

Good knowledge on ITSM Remedy, PagerDuty & SALESFORCE ticketing tools and monitoring tools LIBRE, HPNNMI, THOUSAND EYES, SOLARWINDS & ITSM.
