Operations Officer Public Service Department: October 2018 - July 2022
Assessed, assigned, managed, and reviewed policies and procedures necessary for improving the Public Service Department (PSD). Created new standard operating procedures as needed.
Ensured management, coordination, and organization of the PSD facilities.
Ordered necessary assets needed for PSD operations. Upon arrival, inspected, recorded, and added assets to the PSD inventory. 100 vehicles in Town Fleet.
Managed weekly meetings with Fleet Managers regarding PSD asset life cycles, preventative maintenance, and repairs. Over
Verified and scheduled preventative maintenance and necessary repairs when appointments were necessary, preventing unplanned equipment downtime.
Required and provided necessary safety training needed for proper procedures and operation for all assets in compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations.
Served as PSD manager in the Emergency Operations Center (EOC) during emergencies and large annual events.
Appointed as American Public Works Association accreditation manager. (APWA) Provided formal verification of compliance with recommended practices to achieve accreditation per APWA guidelines. It is a voluntary, self-motivated approach to objectively evaluate, verify and recognize compliance with the Town of Mount Pleasant management practices. Three year process.

Facilitated the organization and management of a 3.2 million dollar operating budget.
Management of 36 holes of championship level conditions. 2000 - Assisted in planning of construction and grow-in of the Beresford Creek 18-hole Tom Fazio signature golf course design. 2004 – Assisted in planning with architects and construction teams in the development and grow-in of the Ralston Creek 18-hole Reese Jones course.
Managed 50 employees. Superintendents, mechanics and technicians. Also, began H-2B program for seasonal employees.
Supervised and recorded all chemical applications with proper training and compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations.
Completed and submitted all site work and environmental planning to become an Audubon Certified Golf Course Sanctuary. Certified in 2006. Maintained certification until departure in September 2018.
Worked with construction companies regarding the continuous development of Daniel Island outside the golf course surrounds.
The Club at Seabrook Island
Assistant Superintendent: June 1997 - January 2000
Assisted with management of 10 greens keepers, one irrigation technician, one spray technician, one landscape technician and one project foreman on the Crooked Oaks course.
1999 - Supervised management of an 18-hole golf course renovation, including total greens and tee renovation, installation of an 18-hole redesigned irrigation system.
Monitored the sensitive environmental areas in accordance with Certified Audubon Sanctuary guidelines.
