Anglo American (Goedehope colliery) at Simunye shaft and bank 2 plant. I worked underground and on the Plant for a period of one year. my duties and responsibilities underground were maintaining of machinery such as roof bolter, feeder breaker, shuttle cars and continuous miner, i was responsible for adhering to all electrical safety standards and complying with the mines code of practice.
on the plant i was responsible for isolations and Lock outs maintaining of workshops and as well as maintaining machinery on the Plant, such as your feeders, vsds, motors substations and Mcc’s . my Responsibilities were adhering to isolations and lockouts, safe working procedure and abiding by all safety standards and measures of the mines code of practice.
